SkyBlue's Stratford based Branch Manager, Jared Evans has

shown his animal friendly side, taking in two rescued chickens!

The Battery Hen Welfare Trust struck gold when they met Jared. The team were looking to re-home rescued chickens and being the big hearted Welshman that he is, Jared 'clucked' at the chance.

Jared says he was inspired by the recent spate of chicken welfare programmes on our TV screens.

Which we think means, celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall has got a lot to answer for.

Jared must be doing something right - his new feathered friends are already laying eggs.

Well done to you Jared.

PS: Can we have an egg for Easter please?
