At 22:00 on Saturday 25 August 2007 operational use of Manchester Metrolink’s Altrincham Line was restored on time!

This was following a 55 day shutdown, in which teams from Carillion Rail, Carillion Regional Civil Engineering and SkyBlue completed a number of crucial works

All efforts are now focused on completing works on the Bury Line, which is scheduled for completion in September 2007.
