The key to the safe and timely completion of work on Underground projects is a well-trained and well-managed workforce, able to deliver results under the most challenging conditions. We are one of the few labour providers with the combination of civil engineering and rail know-how required in this arena, and because we understand the rigours of this industry, we pay more attention to the well-being and performance of our people.

From Safety Critical Teams and Protection Masters to platelayers and concrete finishers, we put together gangs with the right mix of skills and experience to get the job done. Where teams work well together, we keep them together; and by on-going training and development, we are able to retain experienced staff more effectively. That’s why more and more SkyBlue people are helping to maintain and modernise the Tube.
